Carimus Takes Home 2018 MarCom Awards

MarCom, a creative awards competition that honors the best in marketing and communications, has named Carimus a 2018 winner in four categories for its work with RigPark, Stromasys, Wine To Water, and GoodBookey.

 

Administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) since 2004, Marcom has since grown into one of the most prestigious creative competitions in the world, receiving more than 6,500 entry submissions this year.

 

Carimus was named a Platinum winner in the Digital Media/Web Video category for its work with RigPark, an app that helps truckers find parking in remote areas. Carimus’s Justin Groeger designed the explainer video that took MarCom’s highest honor in the category.

 

Tyler Gresham helped Carimus bring home the gold in the Digital Video Creation/Virtual Reality category with his VR healthcare video for Stromasys, an industry leader in legacy server virtualization for schools, businesses, governments, and healthcare providers. Stromasys helps organizations eliminate outdated hardware and modernize while preserving everything of importance.

 

Carimus also received an honorable mention in the Pro Bono category for Groeger’s Wine To Water infographic, and another honorable mention in the Social Media category for the GoodBookey College Football Challenge campaign. Wine To Water raises money and installs clean water systems in underserved communities across the world, from Nepal to the Dominican Republic. Its mission is to support life and dignity for all people by harnessing the power of clean water.

 

GoodBookey is a fundraising platform created by Carimus to help nonprofits and charities raise money via peer-to-peer sports betting. Its user-friendly app makes donating to your favorite cause effortless.

 

The MarCom Awards represent the highest level of quality in the marketing and communications industry, with less than one-fifth of submissions being honored at the Platinum level.
